Ji Yung Lee, 2nd prize and special award winner at Salieri-Zinetti International Chamber Music Competition in Italy, collaborative pianist, is an active performer in the United States. She has made appearances with various instrumentalists and singers at John F. Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., Carnegie Weill Hall, Alice Tully Hall in New York, NY, Jordan Hall in Boston, MA, and Chicago Cultural Center in Chicago, IL. Recent highlights include Victory Hall Opera’s 2018 fall production “The Forgotten” in Charlottesville, VA; Midday Masterpieces broadcast live on WQXR in New York, NY; Joyce DiDonato’s masterclass broadcast live on in New York, NY; OperaComp project premiering excerpts from new operas at National Sawdust, Brooklyn, NY; Dame Myra Hess Concert Series broadcast live on WFMT 98.7 fm in Chicago, IL.

Lee received her Graduate Diploma in collaborative piano at The Juilliard School, studying with Margo Garrett, Jonathan Feldman, Diane Richardson, and J.J. Penna and voice with Cynthia Hoffmann; Master's Degree at New England Conservatory, studying with Cameron Stowe and Jonathan Feldman. She was a recipient of The Marc and Eva Stern - LA Opera Professional Fellowship at SongFest in 2018. She attended Aspen Music Festival and School in 2014 and Music Academy of the West in 2016 both as a vocal and piano fellowship recipient.

Lee is an international volunteer. Sharing her love of music with people, she has performed and taught children in the U.S. as well as Bolivia, Kenya, Mozambique, Palestine, and South Korea.
